self-clinching-standoff

Self clinching standoffs are suitable for applications requiring tight connections and minimal interference from vibration and impact, such as high-speed rail and automobiles.

Self clinching standoffs are installed using a press-fit method. A press machine forces the stud into a pre-drilled hole, causing plastic deformation of the material around the hole, thus firmly fixing it to the thin sheet. No welding or threaded connection is required, making it simple, quick and providing a stronger and more reliable connection.

Self clinching standoffs are reusable, removal from thin sheets does not damage the sheet or the stud itself, reducing operating costs. The primary materials used are iron and stainless steel, with stainless iron, copper and aluminum also available. These materials offer good corrosion resistance and strength.

Self clinching standoffs are available in various models and specifications, SO/SOS/BSO/BSOS are widely used, custom sizes are also available to meet different needs.
